Today we discussed how we can take data from a real life situation and turn it into a quadratic equation. First we plotted points from a table of values and then filled in a line of best fit. Once we get the zeros from the line of best fit, we can write down and equation in factored form. Using another point from the graph, we can then calculate the a value.
